A real tree looks its best right up until you see the stand. This woven collar sits around the base and hides the stand, the bucket and the trailing light cable, so the tree reads as one clean shape from the floor up.

It opens out, wraps around the base and closes with a pin-and-hook catch, which takes seconds and needs no tools. There is an opening at the bottom to feed the light cable through, and at the end of the season it comes apart and stores flat.
